Using templates and software almost always falls short, neglecting important sections and sub-sections needed in business plans including, but not limited to, exit strategy and risk factors. Each section of your business plan needs to be complete, thorough, detailed and yet concise, and that they must have synergies and connections to other sections. For example, does your marketing plan section and competitive analysis; with market share and market penetration subsections substantiate the critical revenue and related expense assumptions in your Forecasts?
