Depending on your equity invested versus equity required, your services or products, your expected competition/market analysis/marketing plans, experience and a few additional factors we could discuss more easily on the phone rather than e-mail to/from, our fees are structured as follows:
1) Raising capital for clients – Fees are deferred until closing, and that includes SBA Funding or Equity. We can work on the "back end" or deferred when and if we have a complete and viable Business Plan as a minority of clients do when they initially contact us.
2) Flat Rate for most small to mis-sized Business Plans - For most small to mid-sized plans, such as those seeking an SBA loan, a local bank or investment from interested parties, a shorter 8-10 page Plan is sufficient, with detailed forecasts (five year forecast, one to two years on month to month basis and notes/assumptions), resume(s) and other items (major purchase orders as one example) as Appendixes. Prices depend on your needs, and all our plans are custom, yet we have completed so many types, we often have research and industry specific forecast models at our fingertips. We can gather info on a phone call, but to further save on our time and fees, we suggest our Questionnaire is best.
3) Mid-sized to larger Business Plans - Plans such as those seeking substantial equity investment, more so as startup or company with limited equity invested by the principals, new technology plans, plans involving a multi-tiered national marketing plan and web-based plans with multiple market segments would be more lengthy, detailed and costly. Fees are hourly, flat rate, usually with a cap on costs, with a “Success Fee” tied to your funding goals and our often being involved after we delievred your business plan to make that happen!
4) Business Plans for non profit organizations and social enterprise - (forecasting, market analysis, marketing plans, team building too!) - We use our Budgeted Flat Rate Agreement, a combination of a Flat Rate and substantial portions of our fees deferred subject to your success!
